Gas Extinguishing Systems

Gas Extinguishing Systems Clean gas extinguishing systems should be preferred for protecting your critical and valuable assets against fire. They should be used in places where you will suffer high financial losses in the event of a fire. In clean gas extinguishing systems, the protected room must be leak-proof. In clean gas extinguishing systems, the gas discharged into the room does not cause any damage to the equipment; your business continues to operate without stopping. Design standards are NFPA2001, EN15004 and ISO14520. It is very important for the system to be certified by internationally accredited organizations such as UL, FM, LPCB, VdS. The gases used in clean gas extinguishing systems are divided into two groups: chemical gases and inert gases. Chemical gases are gases that do not currently exist in nature and are produced in chemical laboratories. The most commonly used types are HFC-227ea (FM-200), HFC-125 (Ecaro-25) and FK-5-1-12 (Novec1230). Inert gases are gases that are already present in nature or are mixtures of gases in certain proportions. There are four different types (IG-01, IG-55, IG-541, IG-100).
